Experience Behind the Process

A practical mediator for complex, human disputes.

Angela Bailey is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator with more than 20 years of experience in insurance claims, litigation, negotiation, leadership, and dispute resolution. She has led national claims operations, guided teams through complex liability and coverage questions, participated in mediations and trials, and worked across business functions where difficult decisions carried significant human and financial consequences.

That experience gives Angela a sophisticated understanding of how conflict develops, what prevents movement, and why the interests beneath a stated position often matter. It does not replace neutrality. Instead, it allows her to understand the context quickly, ask informed questions, and help participants use their time productively.

Her approach is composed, attentive, candid, and future-focused. Participants remain responsible for their decisions; Angela is responsible for creating a process where those decisions can be considered clearly.

A Transatlantic Perspective

Living and working across two continents has shaped Angela’s approach to conflict.

Having lived and worked in both the United Kingdom and the United States, Angela understands firsthand that people can approach the same dispute with different communication styles, professional norms, expectations, and lived experiences.

That perspective helps her recognize the meaning beneath the words and create a clear, respectful structure in which differences can be heard without becoming additional barriers to resolution.

Behavioral Insight

Technical complexity is only part of the dispute.

With a PhD in Leadership and a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Angela understands the effect of communication, power, emotion, trust, workplace dynamics, and decision-making under pressure.

“The goal is not to force an agreement. It is to create enough clarity, structure, and momentum for informed decisions to become possible.”
